We are a husband and wife photography team. My husband, Bao, and I (Joanna) have known and loved each other for over 17 years, and we’ve turned our love for children and family into a family-owned business in Pasadena. Specializing in maternity, newborn, kids, and family portraits, we’re so excited to share our services, talent, and creativity with you!
We’re so happy you’ve visited our website and are considering us as your photographers. What makes us different from other photographers is our “fine art” posed photographic style – though we may also capture some natural moments from time to time. We hope that you like our style and choose to trust us with your maternity or newborn photos. It would be our honor to be selected to photograph your growing family!

Our Qualifications
Here are a few of the steps we’ve taken to ensure a safe experience for your and gorgeous images:
- We’ve taken posing and safety classes by the world renowned, awarding winning newborn photographer and Canon Master, Kelly Brown.
- We’ve been mentored one-on-one with Southern California renowned newborn photographer, Stevie Cruz Photography.
- We continue our newborn photography education with world-renowned photographer and photography mentor, Ana Brandt.
- We’ve also taken a newborn handling and safety class at Huntington Memorial Hospital.
- We’re participants of an online newborn photography safety community, American Association of Newborn Photography Safety, AANPS.
- Via AANPS, we participate in discussions regarding newborn safety concerns with other professional photographers to stay on top of all the latest safety skills for newborn photographers.
- We are up to date on our flu, DTAP, tetanus, and hepatitis vaccinations.
- Our studio is cleaned before and after every newborn session.
- All wraps, props, and covers are also cleaned as necessary and after every session.

We’ve done everything possible to ensure that your precious baby is safe in our hands (because as parents ourselves, we know the importance of infant safety).
